Hope Deferred
Lesson: If you wake up every morning to see what new offerings monster.com has, or eagerly await a phone call indicating someone's interest in your resume, you'll be disappointed. Eventually.
I thank God I was disappointed earlier rather than later. Yet another way in which I find that God is my all in all. Yet another way that I find my identity in the Cross wavering.

I'm sorry to hear that you were disappointed, but glad you're trying to let it work for good. Hang in there, something will come up.
Driving home from school today, I realized I'd left something undone that could be classified as an Important Thing in the internship searching world...and realized I'm rather fatalistic in some parts of life: what happens, happens.
I've become reconciled to the linear progression of time, it would appear. There's enough stress is the thought that tomorrow is another day.
I "stumbled" upon your blog and i must say that i am glad i did.
Take heart that everything will be used for the good of those who love God, and are called according to His purpose.
I am very fond of elves myself... and believe that my finding your blog was very fortuitous.
Be encouraged...
