Nature Speaks of God

The heavens declare the glory of God,
and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
Psalm 19:1

And God came here? To save us?

[Note: There will be a meteorite shower very early on Tuesday morning...check it out!]

I went outside for a few minutes around 1:30 last night and saw six meteorites!

it so amazing that our God created all of this by hand. every little piece of it could you imagine making everything on this earth in 6 days? thats not even a week and he made all of these beautiful creations. he made every single one of us and we are all unique. here is this awesome God and he loves every single one of us. he loves us enough to come down to earth in human form and died for us on the cross, to forgive all of our sins. How amazing is that? That he loves us that much that he would die for us, to go through all of that just to forgive our sins. That is complete Love.

My brother and I drove out to the countryside around 5 AM on that night. We probably saw 2 dozen meteors. The most stunning meteor came at dawn, right when we were strainging to see the last two constelations to fade, Caseopia and Orion. This meteor left a tail that glowed for several seconds.

Our God is great and awesome. He is transcendent in his splendor and holiness, enthroned in heaven on high--- and yet our God also is mindful of us, his creation;even though we sons of Adam have all rebelled and have even besemeared the stars with idolatry, our God has placed his love on us, and has called out a people from the children of men, and has sent his only begoten Son to become a man and die in our place--- such trancendence and such condensation, such holiness and such mercy; what a God we serve and adore!
